Competing against talented musicians from schools across the city, our student delivered a stunning performance that impressed judges and earned a standing ovation from the audience.
The Competition
The Inter-School Music Competition is one of Gurgaon's most competitive events for young musicians, attracting participants from over 30 schools in the NCR region. Categories include instrumental solo, vocal solo, and group performance. Our student competed in the instrumental solo category, performing a challenging piece that showcased technical skill, musical expression, and stage confidence.
Preparation and Training
The winning performance was the result of months of dedicated preparation. Working closely with their instructor at Rhythm & Melody, the student refined their technique, developed performance anxiety management strategies, and practiced the competition piece until it was flawless. Regular performances at our Tuesday Jam Sessions also played a crucial role in building the stage confidence needed to deliver under competition pressure.
